Published rules

  • Weekly reset — savings weeks reset Monday.
  • Daily rebuild — both boards recompute once at 00:00 UTC.
  • High-water mark — improvement banks max(0, best − HWM); poison-then-fix banks 0.
  • Scoring epochs — HWM comparisons are intra-epoch only; a formula change never mints fake gains.
  • 1,000-line floor — repos under 1,000 non-blank lines are ineligible.
  • Diff-scoped never counts — PR scan scores are never compared to full-repo scores.
  • Signed ingestion — every upload is HMAC-signed; nonce unseen; fabrication is closed.
  • Plausibility clamp + taper — full credit to a generous threshold, logarithmic above; clamped, not rejected.
  • Percentile tiers — Bronze → Silver → Gold → Mythic, assigned weekly.
  • Opt out any time — arena: false on a repo; DELETE /api/arena/me for your account.
